"When Reality Exceeds Expectations"
a reflection from our trip to Bordeaux
How many times have you looked forward to an event or trip, or an experience that you held in such a high regard, only to be underwhelmed? I’ve often heard that the planning and anticipation for something significant is more fulfilling than the experience itself. 2021 G.D. Vajra Barolo Albe
Piedmont is one of my favorite winegrowing regions. It is home to the Nebbiolo grape, known for its intense cherry, savory, and spicy notes. One of the top producers of the region, GD Vajra's "Albe" cuveé, is a traditional Barolo, coming from three different vineyards of varying altitude and sun exposure. A refined character with ripe and well-integrated tannins. Prominent red fruits on the nose, with a light floral element, and a dry tobacco and pine needle finish. As the end of Summer approaches, this is a great wine for pairing with grilled meats.
PURCHASE THIS WINE HERE - We work closely with Central Wine Merchants, our favorite local wine shop in Flemington, NJ, to source the wines for all our classes.
