VINE, GLASS, TABLE

a monthly newsletter

November 20

Dear fellow wine enthusiast,

I hope you are well and enjoying the Fall season. With the holidays right around the corner, in addition to spending time with loved ones, I always appreciate the opportunity to slow down. A restful and reflective period before the activity and rush of the December holidays. In this period of time of giving thanks, I propose doing the same for you, taking the opportunity to be good to yourself and treat yourself to something new and refreshing. A nice way to start is with Champagne, the ultimate wine to pair with food. Champagne is as authentic as a wine product can be, and it always feels especially good when you pop the cork and pour a glass. Wouldn't you agree that during this time of giving thanks and embracing friends and loved ones, enjoying Champagne sounds like a great idea?

Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!

NOVEMBER BLOG

"Let the holidays sparkle!"

a campaign for more champagne

The holiday season is just around the corner. Excitement, enjoyment, memories, anticipation, and yes, stress and anxiety. We all take in the holidays differently. What I love most is the gathering of family and friends. Sharing love and appreciation for one another and gratitude for what we have and share. Our gatherings are always centered around the celebration and appreciation of food and wine. READ MORE

NOVEMBER WINE DISCOVERY - a monthly feature of a wine we're excited about

2021 Piedrasassi PS Syrah, Central Coast

The remarkable east-west transverse valleys of Santa Barbara County, which funnel the cool winds from the north of the Pacific Ocean through the region, coupled with the diverse sedimentary marine soils, are host to some of California’s most compelling savory Syrahs. Piedrasassi PS Syrah is a blend of signature Santa Barbara County vineyards. This wine is intensely savory and textured. Aromas and flavors of bacon, white pepper, black currant, and perfume pour from the glass before squeezing back into a linear, expressive drink of wine – one that navigates Kalamata olive and iron with persistent structure. This is an ideal red wine for Thanksgiving as it pairs beautifully with the many textures, flavors, and herbs/spices that grace the table.

PURCHASE THIS WINE HERE - We work closely with Central Wine Merchants, our favorite local wine shop in Flemington, NJ, to source the wines for all our classes.
